Delivery Terms & Conditions

Delivery

We will normally send your order to you within 5 working days. In most cases delivery will be arranged for 2 – 3 working days, however during exceptionally busy times, please allow up to 7 working days for delivery. It is important to remember that all our orders require our special individual attention when being prepared for delivery. Standard delivery to the mainland will be charged at £12.00 per order, up to 6 bottles for each separate address. For larger orders please contact us.

Deliveries within a 20 mile radius of our distribution base in East Hertfordshire will be delivered Free of Charge.

Orders to The Scottish Isles, Scottish Highlands, Ireland or the Channel Islands are processed by special order, and cost of delivery is advised accordingly (Please contact us).

Saturday delivery to UK Mainland is available for an additional charge (Please contact us).

We do not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

We will deliver to business and home addresses. Delivery cannot be arranged for PO Box or BFPO addresses.

In all cases a signature will be required and identification may be requested to verify over 18 years of age. If there is no-one over the age of 18 to sign for your order, the goods will not be left and a re-delivery charge will be required.

Back Orders

In the unlikely event that your item is out of stock, we will back order for you. We will contact you at the time of order and you will have the option to cancel the order or choose another item.

Discounts

For orders of 12 bottles or more discounts may be available. (Please contact us)

Damaged Goods

The Customer will be responsible for checking their goods at time of delivery. For goods damaged during delivery we will offer the customer a replacement or full refund (See Terms & Conditions).

All damages must be reported to Gémeaux in writing within 14 days of delivery.

Faulty Goods

Any goods found to be faulty must be reported to Gémeaux in writing within 14 days of delivery.

We offer a quality guarantee. If any Champagne supplied by Gémeaux proves to be Corked or faulty by way of any result of the champagne process we will offer a replacement or full refund. We do however depend on the integrity of our customers and place a great deal of trust in them. Common sense should prevail in deciding if the fault has occurred during the champagnes production or from how the champagne has been stored since purchase.

You may be asked to return the unfinished bottle for inspection, we will refund your postage when the wine is assessed as faulty.

Return Policy

If for any reason Goods are to be returned to Gémeaux they should be in exactly the same condition in which they were supplied, and the bottles unopened. Labels unmarked and at the customers expense within 14 working days of delivery.
